A Higher Degree of Wood
Introducing Ambara, a proprietary lightweight, low density, and thermally modified West African tropical hardwood that has undergone a thermal modification process to increase stability and durability. In fact, the process increases its durability to the same class as Western Red Cedar.
Ambara is thermally modified to a consistent and beautiful caramel color throughout the wood. It’s a medium texture wood with a medium high luster that is available in mixed and vertical grain. Ambara will naturally fade to a silver-gray color when left untreated.
Holden Humphrey is stocking Ambara siding in the following sizes and profiles:
- 1×6 Edge and Center Bead
- 1/2×6 Bevel Siding
- 1/2×8 Bevel Siding
- 1×6 CVG V2E
